How to Reach Us

Morinj, though slightly tucked away in the bay, is actually very easy to reach from all directions. You can arrive in Morinj using almost any means of transport. Morinj’s position itself is particularly interesting, as it’s located exactly halfway between Herceg Novi (22.5 km) and Kotor (25 km). If you take the ferry route via Kamenari–Lepetane, the distance between Herceg Novi and Kotor is slightly shorter—27 km—but this route bypasses Morinj, which lies about 5.5 km deep into the bay.

By Air

There are three airports near Morinj, the closest of which is Tivat Airport. It’s approximately 14 km away, or about a 50-minute drive via ferry. If you prefer not to take the ferry, there is a more scenic alternative—a roughly 80-minute drive mostly following the coastline along the entire bay.

The second airport in Montenegro is Golubovci near Podgorica, around 120 km away, or about 2 hours by car. The third airport is a bit closer, located in Dubrovnik, around 50 km away, but approximately 90 minutes by car, plus possible delays at the Croatian border.

By Car

Morinj is excellently connected by all major roads, but fortunately, traffic in this part of the bay is relatively lighter due to the ferry. Morinj is exactly 5.5 km from Kamenari, where the ferry terminal is located, connecting the two largest towns of the Bay of Kotor—Kotor and Herceg Novi.

If arriving from northern Montenegro, you’ll take the main road P11 (Lipci–Žabljak) directly to the Adriatic highway, and Green Bay Apartments are just about 1 km from this intersection.

By Bus

The nearest major bus stations where you can buy tickets are located in Herceg Novi and Kotor. From there, you can take any bus traveling through the bay and quickly reach Morinj. Just let the driver know where you’d like to get off.

From Kotor and Herceg Novi, local buses or taxis are readily available.

By Motorcycle and Bicycle
